As part of their town centre improvement programme, Worcestershire County Council has transformed The Shambles and Church Street in Worcester with Mouselow Paving Stone supplied by Roy Geddes (RGB Landscapes).
Councillor Ken Pollock, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy and Infrastructure, said: “These improvements have made a huge difference to the area for both people visiting and the local businesses.”
“When we make improvements, like this one to areas across the county, the aim is to attract people to those areas, which can be a lift to the local economy, especially at this time of year.”
Working in partnership with Worcester City Council, improvements have been made to this area to deliver an attractive multifunctional and durable area of the city centre.
It also aims to improve footfall to the street and in turn, boost the local economy.
