Clients; main contractors; architects and developers are all visiting the BlockStore in increasing numbers. Recent visitors include Rodney Melville and Partners; National Trust; Francis Terry and Finchatton. The BlockStore has some 10,000 tonnes of block from all our quarries is proving very popular for selection of block for specific projects. Many are astounded at the scale and wide range of block available on show and for selection. The BlockStore holds stocks of block from all of our quarries and at any given time our aim is to hold block from every one of our quarries sufficient to complete the exterior cladding on a large scale commercial development.
The BlockStore holds stocks of all beds from our Cadeby Limestone Quarry; both Hard White and Weatherbed from our Ancaster Quarry; Top and Base Bed from our Park Lane Bathstone Mine plus Scotch Buff Sandstone, Dukes Sandstone, Cove Red Sandstone, Stone Raise Red Sandstone, Wattscliffe Sandstone and the ever popular Peakmoor Sandstone.
