Peakmoor Quarry gains Planning for Extension

Blockstone has secured substantial reserves in an extension to Peakmoor Quarry in Derbyshire. Peakmoor is a variable buff sandstone and available in large block sizes. This stone has been used on many prestigious buildings throughout the UK such as Liverpool Library; Cheetham School of Music and Peel Court, Manchester; St. Paul’s, Sheffield; Melbourne University, Australia; Tullamore Distillery in Ireland; West Regent street, Glasgow and Christ Church Court near St. Paul’s in London. Peakmoor will be available along with all Blockstone’s other stones in the BlockStore from mid-May.
